Descriptive; Arts and Culture Festival

MEGANTARA

               Megantara is an annual arts an culture festival organized by student of 3 Senior High School Bandung.Megantara is the third festival,there was Maswapati in 2014,and Gamarvani in 2015.The festival was held oh Saturday, September 10th in Bali filed.

Megantara taken from the Sanskrit word, which is mega and gantari by taking depiction archipelago.Megantara means "Archipelago is a Magnificent Rays". The purpose of this festival is to to make people do not forget about our culture and to preserve the culture in modern era.

               There were a lot event in this festival.T here were Parade, Fashionshow, Band 3, MK3, KPA3 and TsT. The guests star of Megantara are RAN and The Changcuters. The MC of Megantara are Regitha and Rizqi from Ardan School.Megantara was sponsored by Ardan Radio,Biofarma,Frutea,Telkomsel and many more.

               The first event was parade. Its start on 08.00am.Honestly I dont know exactly about parade because I have some work for decoration. After parade there was a Band3 and MK3. Honestly I don't know what the difference hehehe. After that there was KPA3,Fashion Show and Giriharja.

                Besides the rundown, the decorations and stand in this festival is so unique. Because the theme of the event was "culture" so,the decoration and stand is all about Indonesian Culture. There was Sumatera Stand, Java Stand, Kalimantan Stand, Sulawesi Stand, and Papua Stand.

This is a one of stands in Java area. This stand is a Batik stand,we can make our batik in here and we can take it. Of course its not free,but I don't remember cost for each batik.

Next,this is stand in Kalimantan area. That was a traditional game in Kalimantan. We can try to play and the officer will guide us. I don't know the cost of this game 😭. Sorry 

This is a Face Painting stand in Papua Stand. And as usual I don't remember the cost.

 

This is the winner of fashion show. The gift is given by Ridwan Kamil.

                                                               
And the main of this event (I think). There were Changcuters and RAN. The Changcuters make me and my friend gone crazy. That was a great night !
